Quicker Loan Prediction by Lou Riccio – A Tiger is Lurking
Posted on June 27th, 2018 by Herb Rubenstein
Last week the Model had Paul Casey. Well, he finished second but it would have been great if he hung on to win since the Model did not have Bubba. The Model had Bubba at the Open (not good) and missed him at Hartford (double not good.)
But the Model has some big news for this week’s event. It has Tiger in the Top Ten!!!! It has never picked Tiger to be so high up in the predictions. The Model has been pretty good in predicting Tiger’s ups and downs. It correctly had him doing poorly at Shinnecock (he missed the cut) and had him doing well (in the 20 to 40 range) in some of the events early in the year when he did do well. But it has never had him in its top ten. Could be big fireworks if it is right this time.
Even with that result, there are several players ahead of Tiger in the Top Ten. Fowler comes out way ahead of the others with Leishman, Howell, An, and Woodland all with good chances. After Tiger comes Lovemark, Cink, Stanley, and Molinari.
One player with little data (so I didn’t include him in the Top Ten) but showing well in the Model is former World Amateur #1 19 year old Joaquin Neimann. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a good outing this week.
Here are the Model’s picks.
